BWSI Corporate Social Responsibility Manager Mini Arceo discusses sustainable water management and forest conservation with ACSci students.

Angeles City – Angeles City Science High School (ACSci), in partnership with environmental advocacy group ARAW-ACI, conducted “KAPABALUAN III: Panilbi para king Malinis at Mayakit a Kalikasan,” an environmental awareness seminar for Grade 8 and Grade 9 students on January 29, 2026.

The seminar aimed to deepen students’ understanding of environmental protection, with a focus on water conservation and reforestation. Resource speakers included ARAW-ACI Executive Director and Balibago Waterworks System, Inc. (BWSI) Corporate Social Responsibility Manager Mini Arceo, and ARAW-ACI Vice President Sonny Dobles, who shared insights on sustainable water management and the importance of preserving forest ecosystems.

The speakers highlighted ongoing conservation and tree-planting initiatives at the Angeles City Watershed in Barangay Sapangbato, spearheaded by ARAW-ACI in collaboration with partner organizations and schools. These efforts aim to help ensure a sustainable and reliable water supply for future generations.

ARAW-ACI continues to conduct environmental awareness seminars in various schools and organizations, citing findings from a Japanese study that warn of a potential water crisis in Angeles City if proactive conservation measures are not sustained. (PR ARAW ACI)
