Quezon City — Zambales 1st District representative Jefferson Khonghun recently met with Department of Education (DepEd) Secretary Sonny Angara to discuss the urgent education needs and challenges in the 1st District of Zambales. This productive conversation focused on addressing several pressing concerns, from the shortage of classrooms and lack of adequate teacher support to the need for improved learning resources and school infrastructure.
In a bid to strengthen the quality of education, Congressman Khonghun highlighted the district’s immediate priorities, including building more classrooms, providing better resources for teachers, and upgrading school facilities to meet modern standards. Emphasizing the importance of education as a key driver for the district’s development, Congressman Khonghun underscored the commitment to ensure that every learner in the district receives a quality, accessible, and future-ready education.
