CDC Press Release
CLARK FREEPORT— A total of 187 employees of Puregold Duty Free here recently accessed government services through the Clark Development Corporation’s (CDC) One‑Stop Processing (OSP) on Wheels.
The on‑site activity brought frontline government agencies to the workplace, allowing employees to complete transactions without leaving work to visit government offices.
CDC President and CEO Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera said the initiative aims to further improve access to government services for workers in the Freeport.
“This program is about making government services more accessible and responsive to the needs of workers,” Atty. Devanadera said.
During the activity, the Social Security System (SSS) processed requests for record updates, online account resets, and registration. The Pag‑IBIG Fund assisted workers with Virtual Pag‑IBIG loan applications and Loyalty Card Plus concerns, while PhilHealth handled Member Data Record (MDR) requests, record updates, and ID requests.
Employees cited convenience and reduced time spent processing requirements.
“As a single mom, wala akong time na pumunta at mag‑visit sa mga opisina ng gobyerno (As a single mother, I don’t have time to go to government offices). Pero dahil sa One‑Stop Processing on Wheels, sila na mismo ang pumunta dito sa trabaho namin (They came directly to our workplace). Hindi na kailangang pumila (There’s no need to line up), at the same time, nakakapagtrabaho pa rin po kami (and we can still keep working),” said Annie Rose Padernal, a cashier.
Security personnel also noted the benefit of having services delivered on site.
“Napakalaking tulong po sa akin bilang isang lady guard (This is a big help to me as a lady guard), dahil sila na mismo ang lumapit sa amin (because they came to us). Lalo na’t hindi po namin mailakad ang mga kailangan naming asikasuhin (especially since we can’t easily process these ourselves). Napakabait po ng mga staff ng government agencies, very convenient (The staff were very kind, very convenient),” said Zeny Sanchez, a lady guard.
For management, the program reduced time away from work while allowing employees to complete transactions.
“Thank you sa Clark Development Corporation dahil napakadali ng proseso (Thank you to CDC because the process is very easy). Hindi na kailangang umalis ang mga empleyado sa workplace (Employees no longer need to leave the workplace). Dati, kailangan talagang pumila (Before, we really had to line up), pero ngayon less hassle at pagkatapos ay madaling makabalik sa trabaho (but now it’s less hassle and they can return to work quickly),” said Jennifer Gloriani, administrative supervisor of Puregold Duty Free Clark.
CDC said the activity marked the first deployment of OSP on Wheels for Puregold Duty Free employees, part of its partnership with frontline government agencies to bring services closer to workers in Clark Freeport Zone.
