BOTOLAN, ZAMBALES — Authorities arrested a listed Most Wanted Person in a coordinated police operation on Wednesday afternoon, March 18, 2026, in this town.

The suspect, known by the alias “Fred” and a resident of Botolan, was apprehended by the tracker team of the Botolan Municipal Police Station (MPS), with assistance from the Zambales Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) and the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Provincial Field Unit Zambales.

The arrest was carried out by virtue of a warrant issued for Robbery with Violence Against or Intimidation of Persons under Article 294 of the Revised Penal Code. The warrant was signed by Hon. Santiago M. Beltran, Jr., Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court Branch 69 in Iba, Zambales.

The court set bail at ₱100,000 for the suspect’s temporary liberty.

Police officials said the operation is part of the intensified campaign against wanted persons led by PMAJ Jemar Z. Delos Santos, Chief of Police of Botolan MPS, under the supervision of PCOL Benjamin P. Ariola, Provincial Director of the Zambales Police Provincial Office.

The suspect is currently under police custody for documentation and will be presented before the issuing court.
