Olongapo City – Olongapo Mayor Rolen Paulino Jr. together with the Public Employment Service Department (PESD) proudly participated in the official ribbon-cutting of the DOST Science Centrum Exhibit, now open at the Olongapo City Civic Center. This initiative aims to bring science and technology closer to local students, providing an engaging platform for experiential learning beyond the traditional classroom setting.

The exhibit features interactive displays and live science demonstrations, allowing students to explore scientific principles in an immersive, hands-on environment. By making learning both accessible and exciting, the exhibit encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and innovation among the youth.

During the launch, Mayor Paulino Jr. also visited its newest Local Government Internship Program (LGIP) beneficiaries, who are currently assigned to assist visitors at the exhibit. These interns contribute to the educational experience by guiding attendees through the displays and ensuring an informative and enjoyable visit.

The DOST Science Centrum Exhibit will be open to the public from February 16 to March 13, 2026, Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, on the 3rd Floor of the Olongapo City Civic Center. Students, educators, and families are invited to witness the transformative power of hands-on science.
