Mariveles, Bataan – The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) shares the latest developments regarding fuel service facilities operating inside the Freeport. At present, the Petron fuel station managed by SJ FAB Petron Service Corporation is temporarily closed due to scheduled renovation activities. These improvements are part of the station’s continuous efforts to upgrade its facilities and enhance service quality for Freeport locators, employees, and visitors. Fuel operations at this site are expected to recommence once renovation works are completed.
In the meantime, the Star Oil fuel station operated by The Creemore Marketing Corporation has remained non-operational since last year. This status continues unchanged and reflects the normal transition and adjustments of commercial establishments within the Freeport.

AFAB assures investors, business locators, and the general public that despite these developments, overall commercial and industrial operations across the Freeport Area of Bataan remain stable and uninterrupted. Economic activities continue to progress, contributing positively to local and regional growth. Under the leadership of Administrator and CEO Hussein Pangandaman, the Authority reaffirms its commitment to fostering a business-friendly environment supported by reliable infrastructure and ongoing improvements.
AFAB also encourages the public and media organizations to rely solely on verified updates released through its official communication platforms and accredited media partners to ensure the accuracy of information. (DMS)
