SUBIC, ZAMBALES — In celebration of National Women’s Month 2026, the Philippine Fleet conducted a community outreach activity at Saint Francis Learning Center Foundation Inc. in Brgy. Cawag, Subic, Zambales, bringing a day of service and inspiration to local students and residents.
Led by the women of the Fleet, the initiative highlighted the vital role of women in nation-building and community development. The team distributed gifts to students, fostering encouragement and support for their education and well-being.

Meanwhile, the crew of BRP Gregorio Velasquez (AGR-702) organized a feeding program for the children, further reinforcing the Philippine Navy’s commitment to uplifting communities through meaningful engagement.
The activity reflects the Philippine Navy’s continued efforts to strengthen its connection with local communities while promoting inclusivity and empowerment in line with National Women’s Month.
Guided by its thrust, “Addressing Challenges, Promoting Regional Stability, and Maritime Security,” the Philippine Navy remains steadfast not only in safeguarding the nation’s waters but also in extending compassion and service to the Filipino people. (Dante M. Salvaña)
