Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — More than 4,000 runners took part in the “Run for 3Ps,” organized by the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) in partnership with Run Mania Philippines, held at Megaworld Capital Town in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga. The event kicked off at 3:00 a.m. on January 25, 2026.
Participants included PRO3 personnel, police recruits, civilians, and representatives from various partner agencies who competed in the 5K, 10K, and 21K race categories. The early-morning run transformed the city into a vibrant hub of fitness, camaraderie, and community unity.

PBGEN Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr., Regional Director of PRO3, said the overwhelming turnout reflects the collective commitment to the organization’s core values.
“The Run for 3Ps is more than just a race—it is a celebration of unity and wellness. When police officers, partner agencies, and civilians run side by side, we strengthen trust and demonstrate that public safety is a shared responsibility,” he said.
PBGEN Peñones added that activities like this support PRO3’s strategic thrust of Protecting the People, Pursuing Peace and Order, and Promoting Professionalism, while also encouraging a healthy and active lifestyle among police personnel and the wider community.
The successful staging of the Run for 3Ps underscores PRO3’s ongoing efforts to engage the public beyond law enforcement, fostering strong partnerships that contribute to safer, healthier, and more resilient communities across Central Luzon.(Dante M. Salvana)
