SM Supermalls ended 2025 on a high note with the successful run of SM Cares’ annual Besties of Joy campaign, for every Bestie purchased, another was donated to a child in need, transforming a simple holiday gift into a powerful gesture of kindness that connected two hearts — the giver and the receiver, bringing comfort and happiness to thousands of children nationwide.
SM City Olongapo Central conducted a donation turnover activity on January 31, 2026 benefiting Aeta children of Iram Resettlement Area, New Cabalan, Olongapo City, bringing joy and support to the indigenous community.
SM City Olongapo Central volunteers personally handed over the donations and shared meaningful moments with the beneficiaries. SM thanked its partners, customers and donors for making the outreach activity possible and reaffirmed its commitment to continuing community-focused initiatives.
SM Supermalls Executive Vice President for Marketing, Joaquin San Agustin, remarked that the run’s turnout nationwide was the largest character debut SM had in the history of this initiative but beyond that, SM Supermalls is honored to continually foster the spirit of giving and spreading cheer.
