Baler, Aurora – Residents of Aurora can now expect more accessible and efficient health insurance services following the inauguration of the new PhilHealth Baler Office on February 18, 2026.

The blessing and ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by Dr. Edwin M. Mercado, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), together with PhilHealth Region III Acting Vice President Ma. Emily P. Roque. The new office is located at Psalms 23, Suklayin, Baler.

Dr. Mercado highlighted that bringing PhilHealth services closer to communities is a key step toward achieving universal health care, ensuring that every Filipino has access to essential health benefits.

PhilHealth Baler officials, led by Acting Branch Manager Arlan M. Granali and Head Anabelle B. Imana, committed to delivering faster, more responsive, and member-focused services. The office will also actively promote expanded coverage of benefits, including the YAKAP or “Yaman ng Kalusugan Program,” to ensure that more Aurorans are protected by health insurance.

The newly opened facility reinforces PhilHealth’s mission of making quality healthcare benefits more accessible to communities in Central Luzon.
