Camp Condrado Yap, Iba, Zambales –  The Zambales Police Provincial Office (ZPPO), led by PCOL Benjamin P. Ariola, capped off January with a series of successful anti-illegal drug operations that led to the seizure of nearly Php 300,000 worth of illegal drugs across four municipalities.

From January 28 to 30, 2026, Zambales police conducted four anti-drug operations in Sta. Cruz, Iba, San Narciso, and San Antonio, resulting in the arrest of five suspects and the confiscation of illegal drugs and a firearm.

In Iba and San Antonio, police arrested three suspects and seized approximately 33.7 grams of suspected shabu along with one firearm, with an estimated value of Php 229,160.00 based on the Standard Drug Price (SDP).

Meanwhile, the implementation of search warrants in Sta. Cruz and San Narciso led to the arrest of two more suspects. Authorities confiscated about 9.6 grams of suspected shabu and 11.68 grams of marijuana, valued at Php 68,876.00 (SDP).

“We ended the month of January on a high note with nearly Php 300,000 worth of illegal drugs seized. I commend our police personnel for their dedication and excellent performance,” said PCOL Benjamin P. Ariola, Provincial Director of Zambales.
