Baler, Aurora — The Aurora Police Provincial Office (PPO) welcomed its new Provincial Director, Police Colonel Percival Pineda, following a formal assumption of duty ceremony held at Camp Ravina in Baler.
The turnover ceremony was officiated by Police Brigadier General Jess Mendez, Regional Director, and attended by Aurora Governor Isidro Galban, alongside police officers, local officials, and other stakeholders.

In his statement, PCol Pineda reaffirmed his dedication to advancing the mission of the Aurora PPO. He highlighted key priorities under his leadership, including intensifying crime prevention efforts, boosting police presence in communities, and fostering stronger partnerships with the public.
PCol Pineda also underscored the importance of continuity in leadership, noting that existing programs will be further strengthened to ensure the safety and security of all Aurorans.
