Hermosa, Bataan – The Local Government of Hermosa, led by Mayor Anne Lorraine Adorable-Inton, extends its sincere appreciation to the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) for its continued commitment to community service through its ICare Program.

Through the leadership of LTJG Jesus S. Mandi, Acting Station Commander of CG Station Bataan, the PCG distributed food packs to local fisherfolk in Barangay Almacen. The initiative aims to provide immediate relief and reinforce support for one of the municipality’s vital sectors.

Mayor Inton emphasized that the assistance reflects the strong partnership between national agencies and the local government in addressing the needs of grassroots communities. She noted that such efforts significantly help ease the daily burden of fisherfolk while sustaining their livelihood.

Also present during the activity was Municipal Agriculturist Vincent Mangulabnan, who reaffirmed the municipality’s commitment to strengthening programs for the agriculture and fisheries sector.

The Hermosa LGU looks forward to further collaborations with the PCG to advance community welfare and resilience.
