SAN MARCELINO, ZAMBALES — Aboitiz Renewables, Inc., the renewable energy arm of Aboitiz Power Corporation, in partnership with the San Marcelino Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), conducted a First Aid Workshop in Barangay Buhawen, San Marcelino.
The training, led by MDRRMO Head Arsenio Edar Mauricio III, gathered nearly 200 participants composed of students, teachers, parents, and barangay health workers from the local community.
The workshop provided participants with hands-on first aid training designed to equip them with essential skills to respond effectively during accidents and medical emergencies. Through practical demonstrations and guided exercises, attendees learned how to administer immediate care and respond calmly and appropriately in critical situations.

The initiative also strengthened collaboration among schools, families, health workers, and local authorities, further enhancing the community’s capacity for emergency preparedness and public safety.
