OLONGAPO CITY — Families now have a better place to relax and enjoy quality time together as the newly improved playground at Marikit Park opens to the public just in time for the school vacation season.
Open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., the upgraded playground offers a safe and enjoyable environment for children and their families to unwind, play, and create lasting memories.
Visitors are encouraged to observe all posted rules and guidelines to ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper maintenance of the facility for everyone’s benefit.
“This project reflects our commitment to provide safe, accessible, and family-friendly spaces for every Olongapeño, especially for our children who deserve a place where they can play, learn, and enjoy their vacation,” Mayor Rolen Paulino Jr. said.
The enhancement of Marikit Park is part of the ongoing beautification programs of the LGU Olongapo under the leadership of Mayor Paulino, aimed at improving public spaces and promoting community well-being.
Residents and visitors alike are invited to experience the refreshed park and make the most of the summer season in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
