Mariveles, Bataan — The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB), led by Administrator and CEO Hussein P. Pangandaman, welcomed Finora Global for a business visit and site inspection at the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB) on April 15, 2026, as part of ongoing efforts to firm up earlier discussions on potential areas of cooperation and investment.

The engagement builds on prior meetings held in South Korea in February 2026, where Finora Global was introduced as a provisional Offshore Digital Assets License (ODAL) licensee before an audience of around 200 businessmen and professionals. During the event, AFAB presented its investment direction and regulatory framework for emerging industries.

As part of the visit, AFAB facilitated site inspections across the Freeport to support Finora Global’s assessment of operational requirements and potential project locations. Among the key areas of interest are the development of a new golf course with residential villas and mid-rise condominiums, the expansion of the commercial district at the center of FAB, and the restoration of an old theater and cinema complex.

These proposed projects form part of Finora Global’s broader investment outlook in the Freeport and may also serve as supporting assets for future digital platform initiatives, including a planned initial token offering or similar activities.

Discussions also covered possible collaboration on waste-to-energy and energy recovery systems, with both parties exploring practical applications that could enhance industrial efficiency and resource management within the zone.

Finora Global also presented its blockchain-based systems and financial technology applications, highlighting potential use cases in facilitating investments in AFAB-led development projects through digital platforms.

Both parties exchanged insights on project implementation, regulatory compliance, and coordination strategies as part of their continuing dialogue.

The visit underscores AFAB’s proactive engagement with prospective investors and technology partners, as it continues to position the Freeport Area of Bataan as a hub for sustainable and innovation-driven development.
