CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) intensified its anti-illegal drug campaign following the arrest of three high-value drug personalities and the seizure of more than Php1.1 million worth of suspected shabu in separate buy-bust operations conducted in Angeles City and Olongapo City from May 11 to 12, 2026.
In Angeles City, joint operatives of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Police Station 2, Angeles City Police Office, together with the Angeles City Drug Enforcement Unit, arrested a listed High-Value Individual identified only by the alias “Pating” during an anti-drug operation conducted beside Lourdes Northwest Elementary School along Kalayaan Street in Barangay Lourdes Northwest at around 7:30 p.m. on May 11.
Authorities confiscated approximately 110 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated Standard Drug Price (SDP) of Php748,000.00. Police also utilized an Alternative Recording Device (ARD) during the operation to ensure transparency and proper documentation.

Meanwhile, in Olongapo City, joint operatives of the City Police Drug Enforcement Unit (CPDEU) and Police Station 1 SDEU arrested two listed High-Value Individuals identified as alias “TJ” and alias “Bert” during a buy-bust operation conducted at around 1:35 a.m. on May 12 along Ardoin Street corner 27th Street in Barangay East Bajac-Bajac.
Recovered from the suspects were six heat-sealed plastic sachets containing around 60 grams of suspected shabu valued at approximately Php408,000.00, along with one marked Php1,000 bill used in the operation.
The arrested suspects and confiscated evidence were brought to their respective operating units for proper documentation and disposition. Authorities are now preparing charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
PRO3 Regional Director Police Brigadier General Jess B. Mendez commended the operating units for the successful operations and reaffirmed the regional police force’s commitment to sustaining aggressive anti-illegal drug campaigns across Central Luzon.
“These successful operations reflect the strong commitment of PRO3 in supporting the Focused Agenda of the PNP, particularly in strengthening police operations, ensuring community safety, and sustaining the aggressive campaign against illegal drugs,” Police Brig. General Mendez said.
He added that PRO3 will continue intelligence-driven and lawful operations in coordination with communities and partner agencies to maintain peace and order in the region. (Jason de Asis)
