SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — The Municipal Government of San Antonio successfully conducted its Tree Planting Activity 2026 on Saturday, August 1, at Sitio Pala-Pala in Barangay Pundaquit as part of its continuing commitment to environmental protection, climate resilience, and sustainable development.
The activity gathered local government officials, municipal employees, civic organizations, volunteers, and community stakeholders in a collective effort to restore green spaces and promote environmental stewardship.
The initiative was carried out with the support of Mayor Arvin “Dok” Antipolo in partnership with Kalingagang Nanay Bing, led by Hon. Doris “Nanay Bing” Maniquiz, highlighting the municipality’s commitment to community-driven environmental programs.

Mayor Antipolo emphasized that protecting the environment requires the active participation of every sector of society.
“Every tree we plant today is an investment in the future of San Antonio. Environmental protection is a shared responsibility, and through activities like this, we are not only restoring our forests but also inspiring our communities to become active stewards of nature. Together, we can build a greener, safer, and more sustainable municipality for the next generation,” Antipolo said.
