MASINLOC, Zambales — The Philippine Army, Philippine National Police (PNP), and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of Barangay Bani conducted a series of outreach activities for local youth as part of the celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026.

The Alpha (WARRIORS) Company of the 69th Infantry (COUGAR) Battalion, 7th Infantry (KAUGNAY) Division, Philippine Army, in partnership with the PNP and SK Barangay Bani, organized an outreach program, information awareness drive, feeding activity, and free haircut services for young residents of the barangay.

The activities aimed to provide basic services and support to the youth while increasing their awareness of issues concerning their safety, well-being, and responsibilities as members of the community.

During the information awareness drive, participants were briefed on the West Philippine Sea, with emphasis on national awareness, responsible information use, and the importance of obtaining accurate information from reliable sources.

The youth were encouraged to remain critical and responsible in processing information and to take an active role in promoting national interests, unity, and community development.

A feeding program was also conducted for children who participated in the activity, providing them with meals while promoting community care and support for young people.

The organizers likewise provided free haircut services as part of the outreach program, giving beneficiaries access to basic personal care while adding to the activities prepared for the Linggo ng Kabataan celebration.

The participating organizations emphasized the important role of the youth in promoting peace, development, and unity in their communities. They encouraged young people to engage in positive and productive activities, be responsible in handling information, and actively participate in initiatives that contribute to the development of their barangay.

The activity highlighted the continuing collaboration among the Philippine Army, PNP, SK, and the local community in implementing programs that support youth welfare, development, and responsible citizenship.
