Mariveles, Bataan – The AFAB HPP Cup season 3 once again demonstrated how sport can serve as a powerful platform for partnership-building, bringing together key industry leaders and stakeholders of the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB) for a day of camaraderie and collaboration.

Hosted by the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) and led by Administrator and CEO Hussein Pangandaman, this year’s tournament was held on 21 February 2026 at the scenic Pradera Verde Golf and Country Club. Set against clear morning skies, the Pinatubo Golf Course provided an ideal venue for meaningful engagement beyond the boardroom.

Now on its third season, the AFAB HPP Cup has grown into one of the Authority’s flagship stakeholder engagement initiatives — a space where business leaders strengthen professional ties while reinforcing their shared commitment to FAB’s continued economic growth.

The event was made possible through the strong support of its Official Event Partner, San Miguel Corporation, alongside Hole Sponsors including Dong In Group of Companies, GN Power Dinginin Ltd. Co., Camaya Coast, Bataan-Baseco Joint Venture Inc., and One Mariveles Fuel Corporation.

The ceremonial send-off was led by Administrator Pangandaman, joined by Atty. Percival B. Peralta, Office of the Administrator Group Head, and MGen. Ramon A. Ragasa, AFP (Ret.), Consultant to the Chairman and CEO for Security Related Matters at San Miguel Corporation. Their presence underscored the strong collaboration between government and private sector partners operating within FAB.

From the shotgun start to the afternoon reception, the tournament blended friendly competition with strategic networking. Conversations on the greens transitioned seamlessly into discussions at the clubhouse — reinforcing partnerships that drive investments, operations, and shared growth across the Freeport.

The season concluded with an awarding ceremony recognizing top performers, but more importantly, celebrating the collective commitment of FAB Registered Enterprises that continue to contribute to the Freeport’s success. Among those represented were Bataan Baseco Joint Venture, Inc. (BBJV), Dong-In Group of Companies, Klutch, Inc., Mitsumi Philippines Inc., Tai-tan Packaging, BFD Global, Dunlop International (Philippines), Inc., Tipo Valley Realty Inc., One Mariveles Fuel Corp., Seafront Shipyard, Philcement, Mariveles Harbor Corporation, Earth and Shore Group of Companies, San Miguel Corporation (Ruzena, MPGC, Efare), GN Power, iWAR, Hausland Development Corporation, and Petron Corporation.

As AFAB HPP Cup Season 3 closed, it reaffirmed AFAB’s vision of cultivating an environment where strong working relationships lay the groundwork for sustainable economic prosperity. More than a tournament, the HPP Cup continues to reflect the spirit of unity and shared progress that defines the Freeport Area of Bataan.
