Mariveles, Bataan – The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) has once again demonstrated the quality of its services and the efficiency of its processes for investors, workers, and residents within the ecozone, after successfully passing the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 Recertification Audit conducted by TÜV Rheinland Philippines, Inc. on 18 March 2026.

Through this audit, AFAB maintained its ISO 9001:2015 Certification for the scope: “Provision of Ecozone Development and Zone Management Services for the Freeport Area of Bataan.”

This achievement affirms AFAB’s continued adherence to internationally recognized standards for its quality management system, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality services to its stakeholders. It also underscores the agency’s commitment to excellence in fulfilling its mandate to manage and develop the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB).

According to the Initial Audit Summary Report issued by TÜV Rheinland Philippines, Inc., the audit recorded zero nonconformities—both major and minor—highlighting AFAB’s strong compliance and effective implementation of quality management practices.

AFAB remains steadfast in its mission to enhance operational efficiency, strengthen investor confidence, and drive sustainable growth within the ecozone, aligning its services with global standards and best practices.
