Subic Bay Freeport Zone — The Subic Bay Freeport warmly welcomes the return of the cruise vessel MS Piano Land, marking its second visit to the port. The ship arrived today carrying more than 1,000 passengers and approximately 400 crew members, highlighting Subic’s growing appeal as a premier cruise destination in the region.
The arrival of MS Piano Land underscores the continued recovery and expansion of the tourism industry, as well as the increasing interest of international cruise lines in including Subic Bay in their itineraries. Passengers disembarked to experience the area’s rich cultural heritage, scenic attractions, and vibrant local commerce.

Local officials and tourism stakeholders extended a warm welcome to the visitors, offering guided tours, cultural performances, and opportunities to explore nearby attractions such as heritage sites, beaches, and shopping districts.
“This second visit of MS Piano Land is a strong indication of Subic’s rising prominence in the global cruise tourism market,” SBMA Deputy for Port Operations Atty. Kristopher Roman said. “We are committed to providing excellent service and memorable experiences to all our guests.”
The influx of visitors is expected to provide a significant boost to local businesses, including restaurants, transport services, and souvenir shops, benefiting the broader community.
The vessel is scheduled to remain in port for the day before continuing its voyage to its next destination.
