IBA, Zambales — Governor Jun Ebdane personally conducted an inspection of several ongoing infrastructure projects in the province on April 28, 2026, underscoring his administration’s focus on transparency and efficient use of public funds.
Leading the site visit, Ebdane was joined by Engr. Domingo Mariano of the Provincial Engineering Office, Executive Assistant Larraine B. Rico, and other provincial engineers as they assessed the progress of key developments, particularly the soon-to-be-completed Temporary Relocation Building.
The facility is intended to serve as a provisional workspace for various provincial department offices while construction of the new Provincial Capitol Building is underway. The governor emphasized the importance of ensuring that government services remain uninterrupted during the transition period.

During the inspection, Ebdane also highlighted plans to breathe new life into the old Provincial Capitol Building. Once redeveloped, the structure is envisioned to become a central venue for provincial events and activities, preserving its historical value while giving it a renewed purpose.
The governor reiterated that the provincial government is committed to making sure every peso of taxpayers’ money is spent wisely on projects that directly benefit the people.
Regular inspections, he said, are part of efforts to guarantee that infrastructure developments are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
With infrastructure playing a key role in local development, the provincial government of Zambales continues to push for projects that will enhance public service delivery and improve the overall welfare of Zambaleños.
