PRO3 intensifies its anti-illegal drug campaign as authorities seize more than Php1.7 million worth of suspected shabu and arrest several High-Value Individuals in a series of operations across Pampanga and Bulacan. CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) confiscated more than Php1.7 million worth of suspected shabu and arrested several high-value drug personalities in a series of anti-illegal drug operations conducted in Pampanga and Bulacan from May 12 to 13, 2026.

Authorities said the intensified campaign resulted in the seizure of over 255 grams of suspected shabu and the arrest of multiple High-Value Individuals (HVIs) and their cohorts in separate buy-bust operations across the region.

In the City of San Fernando, Pampanga, operatives of the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) of Pampanga Police Provincial Office, in coordination with the Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) and the City of San Fernando Police Station, arrested alias “Ivan,” identified as an HVI, along with a cohort during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Dolores at around 8:09 p.m. on May 13.

Police recovered approximately 75 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated standard drug price of Php510,000. The operation was conducted in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 3.

In Baliwag, Bulacan, operatives of the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit 3 (RPDEU3), together with the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Baliwag Municipal Police Station, arrested another HVI identified as alias “Elizer” during an operation in Barangay Tibag at about 8:35 p.m. on the same day.

Recovered from the suspect were around 50 grams of suspected shabu valued at Php340,000, marked money, and assorted drug paraphernalia.

Also on May 13, operatives of Marilao Municipal Police Station arrested alias “Yana,” another identified HVI, during an anti-illegal drug operation in Barangay Lambakin, Marilao, Bulacan. Authorities seized around 50 grams of suspected shabu worth an estimated Php340,000.

Earlier, on May 12, operatives of Bustos Municipal Police Station arrested alias “Jess” and two companions during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Catacte, Bustos, Bulacan.

Police confiscated approximately 80 grams of suspected shabu valued at Php544,000, along with a caliber .38 revolver loaded with live ammunition, prompting additional charges for violation of Republic Act 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.

All arrested suspects were informed of their constitutional rights and brought to their respective police operating units for documentation and proper disposition of the confiscated evidence.

PRO3 Regional Director Police Brigadier General Jess B. Mendez commended the operating units for the successful operations and reaffirmed the police regional office’s commitment to sustaining aggressive and intelligence-driven anti-illegal drug campaigns throughout Central Luzon.

“These accomplishments reflect the dedication of our operating units in intensifying intelligence-driven operations against illegal drug personalities operating in Central Luzon. PRO3 remains firm and relentless in protecting our communities from the harmful effects of illegal drugs and criminality,” Mendez said.

He added that PRO3 will continue to strengthen lawful police operations in support of public safety, peace and order, and the Philippine National Police’s intensified anti-criminality campaign. (Jason de Asis)
