CASIGURAN, Aurora — The Aurora Pacific Economic Zone and Freeport Authority and the Public-Private Partnership Center formally signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on May 21, 2026, in Casiguran, Aurora to strengthen collaboration on infrastructure development and investment promotion.
The agreement aims to improve coordination between the two agencies in advancing priority infrastructure projects and attracting investments that will support economic growth, particularly in logistics, trade, and regional development within the Aurora Pacific Economic Zone.
APECO President and Chief Executive Officer Gil Taway IV and PPP Center Undersecretary and Executive Director Riza Blanco-Latorre led the signing ceremony, highlighting the importance of public-private partnerships in accelerating development and enhancing government service delivery.

Officials said the partnership is expected to facilitate the implementation of strategic projects that will strengthen infrastructure capabilities, improve investor confidence, and create more economic opportunities in Aurora and nearby areas.
During the ceremony, both agencies reaffirmed their commitment to collaborative governance and sustainable development through programs that encourage private sector participation in key development initiatives.
The MOA also reflects the continuing efforts of APECO and the PPP Center to position the Aurora Pacific Economic Zone as a competitive hub for investments, commerce, and long-term economic progress. (PIA Central Luzon)
