Subic Bay Freeport — Appliance retailer Addessa and LG Electronics Philippines have launched K-Living Starts Here, a four-day showcase of Korean-inspired home appliances and smart living solutions at the Activity Center of Ayala Malls Harbor Point, running from Oct. 24 to 27, 2026.
The exhibit features LG’s range of home appliances, including refrigerators, washing machines, microwave ovens, vacuum cleaners, air conditioners, televisions and sound bars, highlighting technologies designed to improve household convenience and energy efficiency.
Sonia Canonisado, Addessa corporate vice president, said the partnership combines LG’s premium appliances with Addessa’s flexible purchasing options to make the products more accessible to consumers, particularly in North and Central Luzon.

“LG will provide good, premium-quality products, and for Addessa, we would like to provide the ease of owning an LG product,” Canonisado said, inviting shoppers to visit the exhibit and explore the available offers.
Jillian Yap, LG Electronics vice president for marketing, said the showcase brings together the company’s home appliance lineup, including refrigerators in different configurations, washing machines and air conditioners.
He highlighted the energy-saving features of LG appliances, noting that the company continues to develop products designed to reduce electricity consumption and environmental impact. Yap also cited the company’s 10-year warranty offering for refrigerators and washing machines as a demonstration of its confidence in product durability.
Fritz Dumancas, LG Electronics corporate marketing head, emphasized the role of inverter technology in improving energy efficiency, particularly in appliances that operate for extended periods, such as refrigerators and air conditioners.
He said LG’s Dual Inverter technology is designed to deliver improved energy savings, helping households manage electricity expenses while maintaining appliance performance.

The partnership also highlights the importance of after-sales service, with Canonisado noting that LG provides customer support for product concerns and technical assistance.
Addessa serves as an LG partner in North and Central Luzon, offering customers access to the brand’s appliances through its retail network and available payment arrangements.
Organizers encouraged consumers to visit the exhibit until Oct. 27 to explore the latest LG products and promotional offers available through Addessa.
The initiative aims to bring Korean-inspired technology and modern home living solutions closer to Filipino households while making quality appliances more accessible to local consumers.
