CLARK FREEPORT, Pampanga — The Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) has secured a major investment for the country’s growing aerospace sector after signing a 25-year lease agreement with Heatcon Asia, Inc., a global aerospace solutions provider and supplier to Boeing, for the establishment of a new facility inside the Clark Civil Aviation Complex.
The agreement, signed on June 10, formalizes Heatcon’s plan to build and operate a manufacturing, material distribution, and composite repair center in Clark, reinforcing the government’s vision of transforming the area into the country’s premier aviation and aerospace hub.
CIAC President and Chief Executive Officer Jojit Alcazar and Heatcon Asia, Inc. President Howard Victor Banasky signed the lease agreement in the presence of officials from both organizations.

Alcazar described the investment as a significant boost to Clark’s aviation ecosystem and a major step toward positioning the Philippines as a key player in the regional aerospace industry.
“This investment represents a significant milestone in Clark’s continued emergence as a leading aviation and aerospace hub,” Alcazar said.
He noted that Heatcon’s operations support major aviation companies, including Boeing, and are expected to enhance Clark’s attractiveness as a destination for aircraft Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) services.
According to Alcazar, the company’s decision to establish operations in Clark directly supports CIAC’s long-term goal of developing the Clark Aviation Capital, a world-class aerospace and aviation center in Southeast Asia.
“With global aircraft fleets continuing to expand and aviation operators requiring the highest standards of safety and efficiency, Clark is strategically positioned to capture increasing demand for world-class MRO and aerospace support services,” he said.
Alcazar added that the partnership demonstrates international confidence in Clark’s infrastructure, strategic location, and business-friendly environment.

“Today’s signing formalizes a partnership rooted in innovation and global excellence. It highlights Clark’s readiness to support the growing demands of the global aerospace industry while advancing our vision of developing Clark Aviation Capital,” he said.
Founded in 1978, Heatcon is internationally recognized for manufacturing hot bonders, heat blankets, and specialized process materials used in commercial and military aviation. The company serves major aerospace manufacturers and maintenance providers worldwide.
Heatcon officials said the new Clark facility will function as a strategic hub for its expanding customer network throughout the Asia-Pacific region, supporting faster service delivery and strengthening its regional presence.
Alcazar thanked Heatcon for investing in Clark and expressed optimism that the partnership would create long-term opportunities for both organizations and the local economy.
“We thank Heatcon for its trust and investment in CIAC. Their growth is our growth, and we are committed to supporting the long-term success of their operations here,” he said.
Under the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., CIAC continues to accelerate the development of the Clark Aviation Capital as a center for aviation-driven manufacturing, logistics, industrial operations, and aerospace services.
As the land and aviation development arm of the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA), CIAC is tasked with attracting global enterprises and high-value investments that will strengthen the Philippines’ position in the international aviation and logistics supply chain.
