CLARK FREEPORT, Pampanga — The Clark Development Corporation (CDC) has taken another step toward strengthening Clark’s position as a premier investment and business destination by renewing its partnership with PLDT Clarktel Inc. for the continued delivery of critical digital and connectivity services across the Freeport.
The agreement, signed on June 10 at the Clark Visitors Center, underscores the growing importance of digital infrastructure in supporting the operations of more than 1,200 locator firms and over 150,000 workers within Clark.
As businesses increasingly rely on technology-driven systems, CDC President and CEO Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera said maintaining reliable digital services has become essential to sustaining Clark’s competitiveness and operational efficiency.
“Clark’s continued growth depends not only on physical infrastructure, but also on systems and partnerships that ensure operations remain reliable and responsive,” Devanadera said.
The renewed agreement covers enterprise digital solutions, including Microsoft 365 platforms, internet connectivity, and communications systems that facilitate seamless coordination among businesses, government offices, and other stakeholders operating in the Freeport.

Devanadera noted that robust digital infrastructure is a key component in attracting investors and supporting the expanding requirements of companies choosing Clark as their business base.
With Clark continuing to evolve into a major center for logistics, aviation, tourism, and information technology-enabled industries, dependable connectivity remains a critical factor in ensuring uninterrupted operations and efficient service delivery.
PLDT Clarktel President and CEO Javier Lagdameo said the partnership reflects the increasing role of digital technologies in supporting economic growth and organizational expansion.
“Digital systems need to continuously evolve to support organizations as they expand,” Lagdameo said.
Established in 1997, PLDT Clarktel has long been a telecommunications partner within Clark, providing connectivity solutions that support government institutions, businesses, and various organizations throughout the Freeport.
The renewed collaboration aligns with CDC’s broader vision of building a future-ready economic zone equipped with modern infrastructure and digital capabilities necessary to meet the demands of a rapidly changing business environment.
As Clark continues to attract investments and generate employment opportunities, officials said strengthening its digital backbone will help ensure that the Freeport remains competitive, resilient, and responsive to the needs of investors and stakeholders in the years ahead.
