SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — The Municipality of San Antonio is preparing to host approximately 300 tourism officers from across Central Luzon for the 2026 Association of Tourism Officers of Central Luzon (ATOCEL) Convention on July 30-31, further cementing its status as one of the region’s leading tourism destinations.
The annual convention will gather tourism officers from the seven provinces and highly urbanized cities in Central Luzon to discuss tourism programs, strengthen inter-local government collaboration, and promote sustainable tourism initiatives.

Hosting the convention marks another milestone for San Antonio following its recognition as the Top Tourist Destination in Central Luzon last year. The event is expected to provide delegates with firsthand experience of the municipality’s renowned beaches, island destinations, eco-tourism attractions, and warm hospitality.
Mayor Dr. Arvin Antipolo said the municipality is honored to welcome tourism leaders from across the region and showcase what San Antonio has to offer.
“It is a privilege for San Antonio to host this year’s ATOCEL Convention. We are excited to welcome our fellow tourism officers and partners from across Central Luzon and share the beauty, culture, and hospitality that make our municipality a premier destination. We hope this gathering will strengthen our collaboration in promoting sustainable tourism while giving our delegates the opportunity to experience why San Antonio continues to attract visitors from all over the country,” Antipolo said.
The mayor also invited tourists and stakeholders to visit the municipality and discover its diverse attractions.

Organizers expect around 300 delegates from various local government units in Central Luzon to participate in the two-day convention, which will serve as a venue for sharing best practices, forging partnerships, and advancing the region’s tourism agenda.
The hosting of the ATOCEL Convention underscores San Antonio’s continuing commitment to tourism development and its growing role as a key destination in Central Luzon.
