OLONGAPO CITY — Olongapo City Mayor Atty. Rolen C. Paulino Jr. reaffirmed the local government’s commitment to strengthening the education sector by joining the groundbreaking ceremony for the new academic building of St. Benilde Center for Global Competence, Inc. on the morning of July 23.
The new facility is expected to expand the institution’s capacity to deliver quality education and skills training to a growing number of students from Olongapo City and neighboring communities.

According to the city government, the project reflects the continuing partnership between the public and private sectors in improving access to education and creating greater opportunities for the youth through enhanced learning facilities.
Speaking during the ceremony, Mayor Paulino underscored the importance of investing in education as a cornerstone of sustainable community development and long-term economic growth.
“Every school we build is an investment in the future of our youth and our community,” Paulino said.
Officials of St. Benilde Center for Global Competence, Inc. expressed their appreciation for the support of the city government, noting that the new building will enable the institution to expand its academic and skills development programs to better address the evolving needs of students and industry.
