CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — A total of 230 drug suspects were arrested in 160 anti-illegal drug operations conducted by the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) across Central Luzon from Sept. 13 to 19, 2026.
The operations resulted in the seizure of various illegal drugs with an estimated Standard Drug Price (SDP) of PHP4,069,483.58, according to PRO3.
Among the confiscated items were approximately 552.43 grams of shabu valued at PHP3.75 million, 1,455.93 grams of marijuana leaves worth PHP174,711.24, 54.33 tablets of ecstasy valued at PHP92,355.90, and 5.51 grams of kush marijuana worth PHP8,259.
PRO3 reported that no fatalities were recorded during the weeklong operations.
Regional Director Police Brig. Gen. Jess B. Mendez said the accomplishment reflects the continuing efforts of police units to prevent illegal drugs from reaching communities.
“Hindi lang natin tinitingnan ang dami ng operasyon o bilang ng mga naaresto. Ang mahalaga ay nababawasan ang illegal na droga na nakakarating sa ating mga komunidad at napapanagot ang mga sangkot dito,” Mendez said.
The operations form part of the Philippine National Police (PNP) Focused Agenda, particularly its continuing campaign against illegal drugs and other threats to peace and order.
Mendez said PRO3 units would continue to strengthen intelligence gathering, case build-up, and coordination with communities to support the campaign.
“Patuloy ang trabaho natin. Every illegal drug taken off the streets is one less threat to our families and communities. Ito ang Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat, at Nararamdaman,” he said. (Jason de Asis)
