MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — Maxim Rides & Food Delivery joined the city government’s voluntary blood donation drive held on September 21, 2026, at the Mabalacat City College Cultural Hall.
Organized through the City Health Office, the bloodletting drive brought together community members and volunteers to help strengthen the local blood supply. Maxim was invited by the city government to participate, with 20 Maxim driver-partners donating a total of 9 liters of blood.
“We extend our deepest gratitude to Maxim Rides & Food Delivery, including its management, coordinators, and driver-partners, for their support and participation in this voluntary blood donation activity,” said Mylene Garcia, City Blood Program Nurse Coordinator.
“Your continued support will go a long way in helping patients who need blood for operations or surgery, those with medical conditions requiring blood transfusions, mothers who have recently given birth, and others in similar situations.” As an additional incentive, Maxim provided three days of 0% commission to driver-partners who successfully donated blood. The initiative encouraged members of the Maxim community to contribute to the local blood supply while supporting the city government’s efforts.
Through its participation, Maxim continues to support community-led initiatives in the areas where it operates and encourages its driver-partners to take part in programs that benefit local communities and help save lives.
