CLARK, PAMPANGA — The talent, creativity and craftsmanship of Kapampangan furniture makers, designers and entrepreneurs took center stage at the 14th Pampanga Furniture & Furnishings Exposition (PFEX 2026) held from October 1 to 3 at the SMX Convention Center Clark.

Organized by the Pampanga Furniture Industries Foundation Inc. (PFIF), the three-day exposition carried the theme “Design Foresight: The Next One,” highlighting the evolving capabilities of the province’s furniture and furnishings industry.

The event showcased locally made furniture and furnishings that combine the traditional craftsmanship of Kapampangan artisans with modern design, technology and smart manufacturing.

PFEX 2026 also demonstrated how local furniture makers and designers continue to adapt to changing industry trends and the growing demands of the global market while maintaining the distinctive character of Kapampangan craftsmanship.

Michael Castañeda, head of the Arts, Culture and Tourism Office of Pampanga, attended the exposition on behalf of Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda and conveyed the provincial government’s support for the participating furniture makers, designers and entrepreneurs.

The provincial government’s participation underscored its continuing efforts to support local industries, entrepreneurs and the creative economy as key contributors to livelihood generation and economic development in Pampanga.

PFEX 2026 once again highlighted the ingenuity of Kapampangans—from traditional craftsmanship to modern design and technology—and their continuing contribution to the growth and development of the country’s furniture and furnishings industry.
