SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — San Antonio is mobilizing civil society organizations (CSOs) and community volunteers to help secure cemeteries, manage visitor activity and provide public assistance during Undas 2026.

Mayor Arvin Rolly D. Antipolo led a coordination meeting on October 26 to finalize preparations for Oplan Kaluluwa 2026, focusing on volunteer assignments, inter-organizational coordination and measures to ensure the safe and orderly observance of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day.

The initiative aims to strengthen the municipality’s public safety preparations as families visit cemeteries and memorial sites to honor departed loved ones.

Participating CSOs and volunteers are expected to complement local government operations by assisting residents and visitors, helping maintain peace and order, and supporting the delivery of essential services during the observance.

The coordination meeting also underscored the importance of a unified response among community organizations and local authorities in addressing the expected influx of cemetery visitors.

Through Oplan Kaluluwa 2026, the municipal government seeks to ensure that public assistance and safety measures are in place throughout the Undas period, minimizing potential disruptions and providing a more secure environment for the public.

The effort forms part of the municipality’s preparations to manage the annual observance through coordinated action between the local government and community partners.
