CLARK FREEPORT, Pampanga — The Clark Development Corporation (CDC) reinforced Clark’s position as a leading tourism, aviation, and investment destination as CDC President and Chief Executive Officer Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera joined officials of Luzon International Premiere Airport Development (LIPAD) in welcoming Emirates Country Manager Khalid Al Zarooni during a courtesy visit at the Marhaba Lounge of Clark International Airport (CRK).

Hosted by LIPAD, the operator of CRK, the engagement highlighted Clark’s growing role as an international gateway and strategic hub for tourism and business. During the meeting, Charisse Lacson, Assistant Manager of CDC’s Tourism Promotions Division, presented the Freeport’s tourism and economic performance, underscoring its continued growth and expanding market potential.
Clark Freeport recorded 32.6 million visitor arrivals in 2025, generating ₱43.47 billion in tourism receipts. Visitors stayed an average of 4.66 days, while accommodation establishments maintained a 79 percent occupancy rate, reflecting sustained demand across both leisure and business travel segments.

The presentation also emphasized Clark’s strong performance in the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (M.I.C.E.) sector, further strengthening its competitive advantage as a destination for international events, aviation services, retail, and investment. Supported by modern infrastructure, seamless connectivity, and a business-friendly environment, Clark continues to attract visitors, investors, and global industry partners.
The courtesy visit with Emirates underscores the value of strategic collaboration in expanding international connectivity and promoting Clark as a preferred gateway to the Philippines.
