OLONGAPO CITY— More than 2,000 residents of Olongapo City are set to benefit from relief packs sent by the Office of the Vice President (OVP), with the assistance formally received at Rizal Triangle on September 9, 2026, according to Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) Director Rolen Paulino Sr.

Paulino expressed his appreciation to Vice President Sara Duterte and the OVP staff for providing the relief assistance to Olongapo residents.

“Malaking pasasalamat sa ko kay VP Sara Duterte sa padalang relief packs para sa mga taga-Olongapo. Mahigit 2,000 mga residente natin ang magiging benepisyaryo dito,” Paulino said.

He also thanked the OVP and its personnel for extending assistance to the city’s residents.

The relief packs are expected to provide immediate support to more than 2,000 beneficiaries, particularly families needing assistance amid current challenges affecting communities in Olongapo City.

Paulino said the assistance reflects the importance of coordination between government offices in responding to the needs of local communities.

“Maraming salamat po sa OVP and staff,” he said.

The distribution of the relief packs will be coordinated with local authorities and community representatives to ensure that the assistance reaches the intended beneficiaries.
