CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — Anti-drug operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office 3 (PDEA RO3), in coordination with the Magalang Municipal Police Station, dismantled a suspected drug den and arrested four individuals during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Sta. Lucia, Magalang, Pampanga on Thursday.

In a statement on Friday, the operation was conducted at around 2:11 p.m. on Aug. 27 and led to the arrest of the alleged drug den operator, identified by the alias “Juju,” 20, along with three other suspects known by the aliases “Elvis,” 18; “Peter,” 21; and “Gelo,” 26.

Authorities recovered approximately 10 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated value of PHP68,000, along with assorted drug paraphernalia and the buy-bust money.

The suspected illegal drugs will be submitted to the PDEA Regional Laboratory for forensic and confirmatory examination.

Meanwhile, the arrested suspects were brought to the PDEA RO3 detention facility in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga, pending the filing of appropriate charges.

Charges for alleged violations of Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are being prepared for filing in court. (Jason de Asis)
