BALER, Aurora — The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)–Aurora Provincial Statistical Office brought National ID and civil registration services closer to residents during the “Handog ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat” held Sept. 14, 2026, at four sites in Baler, Maria Aurora, Dipaculao, and the Provincial Capitol Grounds.
The activity brought together national and local government agencies in one venue to provide information, assistance, and frontline services to communities.
As part of the caravan, PSA Aurora offered National ID services, including National ID verification, ID issuance, and demographic information updates.
The office also provided civil registration services, including the issuance of copies of birth certificates and assistance through the Birth Registration Assistance Program (BRAP).
During the opening ceremony at the Provincial Capitol Grounds, Presidential Communications Office Undersecretary Ramon “Mon” Ilagan delivered a message from President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., emphasizing the importance of public service.
“Ang pinakamahalagang handog sa araw na ito ay ang pagkakataong makapaglingkod sa sambayanang Pilipino,” the President said in his message.
PSA Aurora said its participation in the Handog ng Pangulo reflects its commitment to making vital statistical, civil registration, and identification services more accessible and responsive to the needs of communities.
The activity also highlighted the role of government agencies in bringing essential services closer to the people through coordinated frontline service delivery. (Jason de Asis)
