City of San Fernado, Pampanga – A total of 2,704 Kapampangan students received financial assistance from the Provincial Government through its Educational Financial Assistance Program (EFAP) on Thursday, April 16.

Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, alongside Vice Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, led the distribution, reaffirming the provincial leadership’s commitment to making education more accessible to the youth.

Of the total beneficiaries, 826 college students each received ₱4,000, while 182 Alternative Learning System (ALS) Senior High School students were granted ₱2,000 each. Meanwhile, 1,496 students who are Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) received ₱2,500 each.

In addition, approximately 200 board passers were awarded incentives of up to ₱15,000 each in recognition of their academic achievements, further boosting the total assistance extended under the program.

The Provincial Government emphasized that EFAP continues to prioritize inclusive financial support for learners across various sectors, ensuring that no Kapampangan student is left behind due to financial constraints.

Officials added that sustained investment in education remains a vital strategy in fostering a more resilient and progressive Pampanga. (PR-Pampanga PIO)
