DOT Region III Regional Director Richard Daenos said the Philippine Travel Mart participation was part of the agency’s continuing efforts to bring Central Luzon’s tourism products closer to the domestic market and create stronger business and market linkages for local tourism enterprises.

The event also enabled tourism stakeholders to engage directly with potential customers and convert travel interest into actual bookings and sales.

The ₱491,305.90 in direct sales recorded at the Central Luzon Pavilion, together with the ₱2.3 million sales generated by Subic Bay stakeholders, reflected the commercial opportunities available to destinations and tourism enterprises through domestic travel promotions.

“More stories are yet to be told. We look forward to welcoming more travelers to Central Luzon,” Daenos said.

The 37th Philippine Travel Mart served as a platform for Central Luzon to showcase its tourism portfolio and reinforce the region’s position as a competitive destination in the domestic travel market.
