MORONG, Bataan — The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA), led by Chairperson Atty. Jerry R. Marasigan and newly appointed BCDA Director Dante V. Liban, conducted a site inspection of the new Philippine Marine Corps (PMC) headquarters at the Morong Discovery Park in Bataan.
The inspection highlighted the government’s continuing commitment to strengthening national defense capabilities and supporting the modernization efforts of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
Designed as a 100-hectare strategic military outpost, the facility is envisioned to become the permanent home of the Philippine Marine Corps, also known as the “Few and Proud.” The highly integrated installation is equipped with mission-critical operational infrastructure aimed at enhancing the Marines’ combat readiness and operational efficiency.

Aside from advanced operational facilities, the new headquarters will also feature high-standard housing accommodations and support amenities intended to improve the welfare, comfort, and everyday livability of military personnel and their families.
According to BCDA officials, the development of the PMC headquarters forms part of the agency’s broader mandate to help modernize military camps and installations across the country while ensuring that soldiers are provided with resilient and mission-ready environments.
The BCDA reiterated its steadfast commitment to delivering infrastructure projects that directly contribute to the operational capabilities, welfare, and long-term modernization goals of the AFP, particularly in safeguarding national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The Morong Discovery Park development is expected to serve as a key strategic defense hub that will further strengthen the country’s maritime and territorial defense posture.
