SAN ANTONIO, ZAMBALES — Local farmers in the Municipality of San Antonio received Certified Seeds today, May 14, 2026, as part of the local government’s continuing efforts to strengthen agricultural productivity and support farmers’ livelihoods.

The distribution activity aims to ensure that farmers have access to high-quality planting materials that can help improve crop yield and contribute to food security and rural development in the municipality.

The program was led by Hon. Mayor Dok Arvin Antipolo and Hon. Vice Mayor Atty. Jojo Bactad, together with the members of the Sangguniang Bayan, who continue to express strong support for initiatives benefiting the agriculture sector.

The Municipal Agriculture Office, headed by Jennybabe Caabay, played a key role in the coordination and successful implementation of the activity.

In a statement, local officials emphasized that sustained support for farmers remains a priority, recognizing their vital role in ensuring food supply and driving the local economy.

The municipal government reaffirmed its commitment to continue programs that promote sustainable agriculture and improve the welfare of farming communities, toward a more progressive and food-secure Municipality of San Antonio.
