Mariveles, Bataan— South Korean-backed Finora Global Inc. has reaffirmed its commitment to invest in a mixed-use tourism and residential development within the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB), signaling renewed investor confidence in the country’s emerging investment destinations.
The proposed project, to be undertaken by Finora Technologies Limited, was highlighted during the launch of Finora Global’s digital platform at the World K-POP Center in South Korea, where approximately 500 representatives from the business, investment, and development sectors gathered alongside officials from the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB).
The development plan features a 9-hole golf course with night-play facilities, a clubhouse, recreational amenities, residential villas, and medium-rise condominium buildings—an integrated tourism and lifestyle project expected to diversify the Freeport’s investment portfolio beyond its traditional industrial base.

Speaking before investors and business leaders, AFAB Administrator and Chief Executive Officer Hussein P. Pangandaman underscored the agency’s commitment to building stronger partnerships with responsible international investors and development partners that support the Freeport’s long-term economic growth.
If implemented, the project is expected to stimulate investments in tourism, hospitality, construction, and real estate while creating employment opportunities and increasing visitor traffic to Bataan. The planned golf course, designed for both daytime and evening play, is also envisioned to become a unique recreational attraction within Central Luzon.
AFAB welcomed Finora Global’s investment commitment, emphasizing that the proposed development remains subject to the completion of documentary requirements, registration, regulatory approvals, and compliance with applicable Freeport policies and national regulations.
The agency expressed optimism that the project will contribute to positioning the Freeport Area of Bataan as a competitive hub for tourism, leisure, and sustainable investment, complementing its growing industrial and logistics sectors.
