OLONGAPO CITY – The Philippine Dental Association (PDA)–Olongapo Chapter formally welcomed its new set of officers during its 69th Induction and Turn-Over Ceremonies, held recently in Olongapo City, reaffirming the organization’s commitment to professional excellence and public health service.

The ceremony brought together dental practitioners, local officials, and guests to witness the leadership transition within the chapter. Olongapo City Mayor Atty. Rolen Paulino Jr. administered the oath of office to the newly elected officers, led by incoming Chapter President Dr. Maria Theresa Atienza-Agawin.

The event highlighted the contributions of dental professionals in promoting oral health awareness and delivering quality dental care to communities. It also served as a platform to recognize the achievements of the outgoing leadership while setting the direction for the chapter’s future programs and initiatives.

In his message, Mayor Paulino lauded Dr. Atienza-Agawin for accepting the responsibility of leading the organization despite personal challenges, expressing confidence in her ability to further strengthen the chapter and its service to the community.

The mayor likewise commended outgoing president Dr. Jennifer Del Rosario-Requesto for her dedicated leadership and accomplishments during her term. He assured the organization of the city government’s continued support for projects that advance public health and professional development.
