CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga – Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) inaugurated a renovated police station in Bulakan and a newly constructed police station in Pulilan, Bulacan on July 20 as part of its continuing efforts to strengthen police infrastructure and improve the delivery of public safety services in Central Luzon.
PRO3 Regional Director Brig. Gen. Jess B. Mendez led the inauguration and blessing of the renovated Bulakan Municipal Police Station in Barangay San Jose together with Bulakan Mayor Vergel C. Meneses.
The upgraded facility is expected to provide a safer and more functional workplace for police personnel while enhancing daily operations and the delivery of responsive, people-centered police services.
Later in the day, Mendez and Pulilan Mayor Rolando S. Peralta Jr. inaugurated the newly constructed Pulilan Municipal Police Station in Barangay Poblacion.
Designed to meet the growing operational requirements of the municipality, the new facility features modern workspaces and improved operational capabilities to support faster and more efficient police response.
Mendez said investments in police infrastructure are essential in strengthening law enforcement capabilities and improving public service.
“A police station is more than just a workplace—it is where public service begins. By investing in better facilities, we are also investing in the welfare of our personnel and in our ability to provide faster, more efficient, and more compassionate service to our communities,” he said.
According to PRO3, the completion of the two projects reflects the strong partnership between the Philippine National Police and local government units in promoting safer and more resilient communities.
The improved facilities are expected to enhance operational efficiency, strengthen community engagement, and provide police personnel with an environment that supports professional and service-oriented policing.
The projects also support the Philippine National Police’s Focused Agenda, particularly the Enhanced Managing Police Operations (EMPO) and Managing Police Resources programs, by providing modern infrastructure that improves operational readiness and organizational efficiency.
PRO3 said it will continue to pursue infrastructure development initiatives and strengthen collaboration with local stakeholders to enhance public safety services and address the evolving security needs of communities across Central Luzon. (Jason de Asis)
