CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) recorded major accomplishments in its intensified anti-criminality campaign after confiscating more than Php43.9 million worth of illegal drugs, arresting 243 wanted persons, and recovering 199 loose firearms across Central Luzon from June 7 to 13, 2026.
According to PRO3, a total of 243 fugitives were arrested under its Campaign Against Wanted Persons, including 40 Most Wanted Persons and 203 Other Wanted Persons. Authorities said the operation reflects the region’s continuing efforts to locate and apprehend individuals facing criminal charges and ensure their appearance before the courts.
The regional police also strengthened its campaign against loose firearms, resulting in the arrest of 37 individuals and the recovery, surrender, or confiscation of 199 firearms. Officials noted that the operation helps prevent firearms from being used in criminal activities and contributes to maintaining public safety.
Meanwhile, PRO3 sustained its aggressive anti-illegal drug operations, conducting 192 operations that led to the arrest of 268 individuals and the filing of 172 criminal cases. The operations resulted in the seizure of illegal drugs with an estimated street value of more than Php43.9 million, along with the recovery of cash and other pieces of evidence.
PRO3 Regional Director, Police Brigadier General Jess B. Mendez, credited the accomplishments to the dedication of police personnel and the continued cooperation of the public.
“These accomplishments reflect the dedication and hard work of our personnel in carrying out their mandate to enforce the law and keep our communities safe. We will continue to intensify our operations against wanted persons, loose firearms, and illegal drugs while ensuring that all actions are conducted within the bounds of the law and with full respect for human rights,” Mendez said.
He emphasized that the accomplishments contribute to the Philippine National Police’s broader goal of maintaining peace and order and creating safer communities throughout Central Luzon.
Mendez also assured the public that PRO3 remains committed to delivering responsive and effective police service, stressing that the region will continue to strengthen its campaign against criminality through close collaboration between law enforcement agencies and the communities they serve.
