BALER, Aurora – The 91st Infantry (SINAGTALA) Battalion joined the 2nd Quarter Joint PPOC, PADAC, and PTF-ELCAC Meeting on June 29, 2026, reaffirming its commitment to inter-agency collaboration in strengthening peace, public safety, and security in Aurora Province. The meeting also endorsed key resolutions on law enforcement support, maritime security, and enhanced coordination among government agencies in pursuit of sustainable peace and development. BALER, Aurora – The 91st Infantry (SINAGTALA) Battalion, Philippine Army actively participated in the 2nd Quarter Joint Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC), Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PADAC), and Provincial Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (PTF-ELCAC) Meeting held on June 29, 2026, at the WIDE Center Conference Room, ATC Compound, Baler, Aurora.
The meeting was presided over by Aurora Vice Governor Atty. Patrick Alexis Angara and attended by representatives from various national government agencies, including the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity (OPAPRU), Department of Health (DOH), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), and local government units.
Representing the Philippine Army were Colonel Arsen Boy D. De Guzman, Executive Officer of the 703rd (AGILA) Brigade; Lieutenant Colonel Michelangelo G. Ramirez, Commanding Officer of the 91st Infantry Battalion; Captain Jevie J. Sagragao, Battalion Operations Officer; and Captain Zamzamyn K. Dimasidsing, Acting Civil-Military Operations Officer.
During the meeting, the council discussed and endorsed several key resolutions aimed at strengthening public safety, security, and inter-agency coordination across the province.
Among the resolutions approved was a request urging the Bureau of Fire Protection National Headquarters to increase the Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses (MOOE) allocation for local BFP units to support the maintenance of fire trucks. The council also discussed the funding responsibilities of local government units and provincial BFP offices in supporting regional and national operations.
The council likewise approved a resolution supporting the Philippine Coast Guard–Aurora in strengthening maritime law enforcement, particularly in the implementation of local ordinances on boat registration and the enhancement of public information dissemination through official social media platforms.
Members also reaffirmed Aurora’s State of Stable Internal Peace and Security (SSIPS) and expressed continued support for the PNP–PCG–LGU–AFP Collaborative Effort (PLACE), widely known as “Bantay Aurora,” to further enhance peace and security initiatives throughout the province.
In addition, the council approved the realignment of funds under the POPS PLAN 2026 Annual Implementation Plan to support operational requirements of the 91st Infantry Battalion, BFP, PNP Maritime Group, PDEA, and DILG. A proposed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aimed at strengthening collaboration among the PNP, AFP, and local government units was likewise endorsed.
The 91st Infantry (SINAGTALA) Battalion reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with partner government agencies in sustaining peace, maintaining public order, and promoting inclusive development through strengthened cooperation and coordinated security efforts across Aurora Province.
