CASTILLEJOS, Zambales — Qualified beneficiaries from vulnerable sectors in Castillejos will be able to buy rice at ₱20 per kilo through an initiative of the Castillejos Farmers Agricultural Cooperative on Wednesday, October 28.

The rice-selling activity will start at 8 a.m. at the town park, targeting senior citizens, members of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), solo parents and persons with disabilities (PWDs).

Each qualified beneficiary may purchase up to five kilos of rice, subject to the program’s limit. Beneficiaries are required to present a valid identification card to verify their eligibility.

The initiative aims to help ease food expenses among low-income and vulnerable households as families continue to cope with daily living costs.

Beneficiaries are advised to arrive early and bring the necessary identification to facilitate the purchase of rice.
