Clark Pampanga- In a major step toward strengthening regional healthcare services, the Department of Health (DOH) has unveiled the Pediatrics Building of the first-ever multispecialty medical center in Clark, Pampanga.

The initiative supports the directive of President Bongbong Marcos Jr. to expand specialty centers across key regions in the country, ensuring that Filipinos can access advanced medical services closer to home.

Located in Clark, Pampanga, the state-of-the-art Pediatrics Building will have a capacity of more than 100 beds and will serve children from Pampanga and neighboring provinces in Central Luzon. The facility is designed to reduce the need for families to travel to Metro Manila for specialized pediatric care.

Once operational, the center will offer comprehensive child-focused services, including: Out-Patient Department (OPD) Specialty Clinics, Pediatric Cardiology,Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU),Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU),Radiologic Imaging,Laboratory Services,Pharmacy, Various Pediatric Subspecialties.

The new building forms part of the government’s broader strategy to modernize healthcare infrastructure, decongest major hospitals in the National Capital Region, and strengthen regional referral systems.

The Pediatrics Building is scheduled to open in July 2026, marking a significant milestone in advancing equitable, accessible, and high-quality healthcare for Filipino children. (Department of Health)
