CASTILLEJOS, Zambales — Music, family, and community spirit came together as Dela Llana’s Flower Farm hosted its first-ever music festival in Barangay San Agustin, drawing music enthusiasts and visitors from different parts of Zambales and nearby provinces.
Dubbed as a special Father’s Day celebration, the event transformed the scenic five-hectare flower farm into a vibrant venue for live music, workshops, games, raffles, and charitable activities.
According to farm owner Amethya Dela Llana, the festival was organized not only to honor fathers but also to pay tribute to the men who laid the foundation of the family-owned destination.
“The primary event is the Father’s Day Music Festival. It is to give joy to the fathers and to honor my grandfather, Precioso Dela Llana, and my father, Gualberto Dela Llana, who helped make this place what it is today,” she said.
Established in 2019, Dela Llana’s Flower Farm has gradually grown into a popular eco-tourism destination in Castillejos. What began as a personal passion project has blossomed into a thriving attraction that showcases nature, creativity, and community engagement.
The festival featured music workshops, including ukulele and jam sessions, alongside performances from headline acts Guddhi$t and Slowdough. Local bands Banda ni Bathala, Owl’s Night, and Trippy Sunday also energized the crowd with their performances.
Beyond entertainment, the event carried a charitable purpose, with a portion of the proceeds earmarked for community outreach initiatives.
Residents and visitors alike enjoyed an evening of music and fellowship, highlighting the growing role of local events in promoting tourism and supporting homegrown talent in Zambales.
Organizers expressed optimism that the successful turnout would pave the way for more music festivals and cultural events at the flower farm in the coming years, further strengthening Castillejos’ reputation as an emerging destination for arts, culture, and eco-tourism.
